It has performed satisfactorily in the areas of disbursement of social security pensions, implementation of MGNREGA and utilization of development funds. However, out of the 208 projects approved, only 118 have been completed. The audit found discrepancies such as non-completion of property tax reform, shortfall in labour tax collection, non-levy of tax from mobile towers, discrepancies in certain financial records, and non-commissioning of a waste treatment bailing machine purchased at a cost of ₹5.45 lakh. Overall, the report assesses that although the Panchayat has performed well in the implementation of welfare schemes, the efficiency of governance in project implementation and revenue collection needs to be further improved
